Welcome to St. Marychurch Pre-school Care, Play and Education

​St. Marychurch Pre-school has operated in the Parish Hall since the late 1970s and registered with Ofsted in 1997. The Pre-school meets the Welfare Requirements and plans to the Early Years Foundation Stage. The group is run by experienced staff and is managed by a committee of parents. We have a classroom and an enclosed outside play space with grass and wooded den areas for playing and exploring the natural world.

Our Aim

We aim to provide a safe, stimulating, caring, happy pre-school where all children and their families are welcome. We provide a curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage using individual children’s interests and needs.

We achieve our goals by:

• Providing high-quality care and education for children aged 2 years until they reach statutory school age.
• Working in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop.
• Offering children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.
• Adding to the life of the local community.​​

Monday - Friday
(Term time only)

Early morning session- 8.30 am to 9.00 am (non-funded)
Morning session-  9.00 am to 12.00 pm
Lunch club session- 12.00 pm to 12.30 pm
Afternoon session- 12.30 pm to 3.00 pm
